Program Refunds<br />

Will be awarded if request is made no later than the second week of class for those classes offered on a semester<br />

basis. For classes that have a yearly registration, refund requests must be made by the fourth week of the program.<br />

Refund requests after this period of time must be addressed in writing <strong>to</strong> the MAR-JCC President/CEO explaining the<br />

extenuating circumstances for the request. Allow four weeks for refund checks. There is a processing fee of $35 per<br />

transaction. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be issued for programs requiring try-outs, e.g., sports travel teams &<br />

Bamachol dance troupes. Credits, if issued, expire one year from date of issue.<br />

Payment for Private Lessons/Personal Training<br />

Per MAR-JCC policy and for insurance purposes, payment arrangements for all personal training and private lessons<br />

at the MAR-JCC must be processed through a MAR-JCC registrar. MAR-JCC membership is required. Only approved<br />

personnel and independent contrac<strong>to</strong>rs employed by the MAR-JCC are eligible <strong>to</strong> provide personal training and<br />

private instruction.<br />

"Outside Professionals" Use of the MAR-JCC<br />

No outside trainers, teachers, coaches, tu<strong>to</strong>rs, therapists, pros, etc., may use the MAR-JCC for professional purposes<br />

even in the company of and with the permission of a MAR-JCC member, without written authorization from the MAR-<br />

JCC President/CEO. "Outside Professionals" receiving said authorization must comply with all insurance requirements<br />

and provide all required documentation.<br />

Personal Belongings/Lockers<br />

The MAR-JCC is not liable for the theft, loss, or damage <strong>to</strong> any personal belongings or property. It is recommended<br />

not <strong>to</strong> s<strong>to</strong>re any valuables in parked vehicles. You may bring a lock <strong>to</strong> secure your belongings in a “daily locker” in<br />

our locker room facilities, Scheck Family Gymnasium, or by the Program Building. The lock must be removed by the<br />

end of each day or it will be removed by MAR-JCC staff. Permanent lockers are available annually in the men’s and<br />

women’s locker rooms for $65. Visit the membership office, or call ext. 145/146.<br />

Security<br />

Security and safety are our highest priority. The MAR-JCC reserves the right <strong>to</strong> check trunks and vehicles for security<br />

purposes. It also reserves the right <strong>to</strong> check backpacks, lunch boxes, and other types of sealed or closed containers<br />

without prior notification. No weapons are permitted on campus. Among the permanent security systems at the MAR-<br />

JCC are:<br />

• Security gates and guards • Entry <strong>to</strong> various MAR-JCC Facilities only with membership card activation •<br />

Surveillance cameras, recording systems and moni<strong>to</strong>rs at strategic places throughout the buildings and outdoor<br />

areas • Signage that will alert all visi<strong>to</strong>rs that the premises are under surveillance • Emergency alarms that are<br />

directly connected <strong>to</strong> law enforcement authorities • A pho<strong>to</strong> I.D. is required <strong>to</strong> enter the MAR-JCC - access <strong>to</strong> the<br />

MAR-JCC may be denied if appropriate I.D. is not presented.<br />

The overall effect is a high level of security at the MAR-JCC that prompts quick action in the event of any danger signs.<br />

Privacy<br />

The MAR-JCC will not provide any account information, expenses, registration records, participation in activities, and<br />

any other information <strong>to</strong> anyone other than its member of record, regardless of relationship/marital status.<br />

Car Pool Dismissal<br />

To expedite the exiting of cars at school/camp dismissal, as well as those who are seeking entry <strong>to</strong> the MAR-JCC, we<br />

ask that you follow directions of MAR-JCC personnel and only make a right hand turn on<strong>to</strong> NE 25th Avenue.<br />

Campus Speed Limit<br />

For your safety, and the safety of others, we ask that you observe a campus speed limit of 5 mph.<br />

Bullying<br />

The MAR-JCC is a meeting place that promotes friendship, belonging, and camaraderie. MAR-JCC members,<br />

guests, and staff are expected <strong>to</strong> treat one another with respect and dignity and no form of bullying will be<br />

<strong>to</strong>lerated. Any act of bullying should be brought <strong>to</strong> the attention of MAR-JCC staff and may result in suspension<br />

from the MAR-JCC.<br />

Cell Phones<br />

Cell phones may not be used in any MAR-JCC bathroom or locker room facility and when operating a vehicle on<br />

Campus. Texting while driving is strictly prohibited.<br />
