This membership is valid during the school year and does not apply for Camp Sol Taplin enrollment. An added feature to your MAR-JCC membership, receive discounts on services and merchandise from area businesses when presenting your valid MAR-JCC membership card. Go to www.marjcc.org to view participating businesses. See page 9 for current list of participants. Membership Dues - Payment Options 1. Pay in full and save 5%. 2. Automatic monthly payment system based on a yearly contract. Automatic monthly payments are easy and secure. Once enrolled, there is no lapse in membership UNLESS the membership office receives in writing a cancellation request at least 30 days prior to membership renewal date. Automatic monthly payment dues plus the processing fee of $3 will be processed for your convenience. There is a $10 declined credit card fee, and a $30 returned check fee. Membership renewal month is set from the time of enrollment and will NOT be altered unless there has been a membership lapse of at least six months. At least one adult in household must sign the membership agreement/contract. Membership dues are NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE and cover a minimum oneyear period. Dues cannot be pro-rated. Membership Cards/Parking Passes Every member, 13 years and up, is required to carry a newly issued photo membership card. To facilitate entrance into the MAR-JCC, please present your membership card to the Front, Fitness, and Tennis desk receptionists. Though we make every effort to recognize our members, we ask everyone to carry his/her membership card at all times. If your membership card or parking pass is lost or stolen, please notify the Membership Services Department. A $10 fee will be charged for replacement cards and Parking Passes. Membership cards and Parking Passes are nontransferable and MAR-JCC membership may be revoked upon violation of MAR-JCC policies. Parking To expedite entry to the MAR-JCC, all members should have a valid MAR-JCC parking pass in the windshield of their cars (may be obtained at the Front Desk of the Main Building). An active All-Access Card my be sued to facilitate entry. The MAR-JCC reserves the right to tow (at driver’s/owner’s expense) or place a boot (removal charge of $50) on any vehicle parked in an unauthorized/undesignated area. Use of the MAR-JCC The MAR-JCC, a membership based organization, provides programs and services to both its membership and the community-at-large. The use of MAR-JCC facilities are primarily available to MAR-JCC members. Programs open to only MAR-JCC members are noted in Program Guide and other promotional materials. Guest Policy All Access Members are entitled to bring a guest up to three times a year at a fee of $10/adult and $5/senior or ”junior” (13 and under) for use of MAR-JCC Health & Wellness facilities. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Same non-member guest may utilize the MAR-JCC up to three times per year. Out-of-town guests who belong to another JCC outside the area receive complimentary guest privileges for up to two weeks per year upon presenting a valid membership card from the other JCC to the Membership Department. Class & Program Registration To register during early registration and receive priority registration and member rates on programs, membership must be in good standing for the duration of the program. If membership expires during the course of the program, members must either pay for the renewal at registration, or give a post-dated payment for the renewal. Payment must accompany all registrations for classes and programs. To be eligible to register, member accounts must be up-to-date including membership fees. Associate and non-members may register for classes and programs when specified. No phone registration will be accepted. Registration will be accepted in person or by fax with completed registration form using Master Card, Visa, or Discover, with registrar approval. There will be a $30 charge for any returned checks and a $10 fee for any declined credit card. A registration will not be processed, a space will not be reserved in the class or program, and attendance will not be permitted until a signed registration form or electronic verification (accompanied by payment) is received. The MAR-JCC reserves the right to cancel any class or program due to insufficient registration and fees will be refunded. Fee Assistance The MAR-JCC offers fee assistance to qualified individuals and families. Extended payment plans are also available. All requests are handled confidentially.
