Center-based classrooms are set up for areas of math, science, writing, reading, art, manipulatives, library, language,
and housekeeping/life skills using the model of the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Outside playtime provides gross
motor development in the Jordan Savage Playground and the Marlene Haime De Finvarb Playground. Jewish
holiday celebrations, Shabbat programming, mitzvot, and Jewish culture are integrated. Weekly activities include
music, physical education (swim and sports instruction),”rikudim” (Israeli dance), and art classes.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm $3,625 Tuition contract (10 months) - $725/month

Spring Break Mini-Camp (March 28 & 29)
In addition to its Infant Toddler Center & Preschool, ECD offers School’s-Out Vacation Programs, and Parent
Education Programs. Vacation Day programming will include a variety of activities, such as swimming, sports, arts &
crafts, singing, outdoor games and playground, and indoor play. Glatt Kosher lunch included. For hours and further

MAR-JCC Preschool Children (ages 3 & 4) - $40
MAR-JCC Member not enrolled in JCC preschool (must be 4 years old) - $50

Parenting Skills Workshop
This workshop, by Edan Alcalay, will show you effective ways to use non-violent discipline techniques that work to
improve communication with your children. You will learn how to teach them values and how to solve problems
on their own. You will learn how to assist your child to be the very best!

Parent Association For Children and Teachers (PACT)
A volunteer committee of ECD parents who serve in an advisory capacity, as well as undertake a variety of
projects to generate funds to benefit the early childhood program.
Parent Education Programming (PEP)
Our MAR-JCC has implemented CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Children’s Health), a program designed to raise
a generation of healthier children through proper nutrition and physical activity. Parents are provided with
information to reinforce at home that which is learned at school.
