2011—2012 Missouri Directory 7

8 2011—2012 Missouri Directory

Dear Friends and Fellow Hereford Breeders,
Welcome to the 2011-2012 edition of the Missouri Hereford Association Breeder
Directory. You will see in this directory many breeders that have committed to
supplying our beef industry with superior genetics to help our breed move forward in
today’s economy.
What an exciting time to be a Hereford breeder. The demand for Hereford cattle has
risen the last few years and provided an opportunity for us as breeders to show how
our breed can improve many traits in a crossbreeding program. A whiteface calf will
compliment any breed in today’s industry and with our current economic times, we
can make a difference in the beef industry.
I believe to continue to be successful, we as Hereford breeders, all need to work
together to promote our breed. Be involved whether it be through attending field days
or showing cattle at your local or state fairs or just talking about Hereford cattle. The
people and the cattle, that’s what makes being a member of the Missouri Hereford
Association such a great experience.
Feel free to contact the breeders and advertisers in this directory with any questions
that you may have.
