Creating a Culture of Internet Use within the EMS Fellowship

Explanation: What do we mean by "Culture" => we use the term in the sense of "habit"
that is the way people use the internet
1. What to achieve?
- create forums for EMS decision-making bodies
- networking between Church groups (for example youth, women) with specific purposes
- looking for a broader basis of participants on the net
- creating an open forum dealing with particular issues (for example mission....)

- there should be a conscious effort to broaden the basis of groups and networking by
facilitating access to training courses
- has an existing "internet culture" been taken for granted during discussions of group 2?
- you can only create an internet culture by using its instruments!
- there is need for education to make people internet-literate
- attention should be given to the fact that the use of the internet and the global
networking also pushes forward the globalisation process and endangers local cultures
