During the first test case, we defined the load into DSO <strong>using</strong> the Only PSA<br />

option. Because no target object is defined, the <strong>BI</strong> system visualizes this case<br />

<strong>using</strong> the processing activities, as shown in Figure 5-7. First the PSA is loaded.<br />

In a second step the data target, such as DSO or InfoCube, can be populated.<br />

Processing options<br />

After all specifications are per<strong>for</strong>med, the PSA load can be started <strong>using</strong> the start<br />

options. The following options are available:<br />

► Start Data Load Immediately, which starts the defined activity in a dialog work<br />

process. The profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time is set to 3600 in a <strong>BI</strong><br />

system.<br />

► Start in Background, which starts a job assigned to a background (batch)<br />

work process.<br />
