4.2.1 Processing RUNSTATS for BI tables Up from BW 3.0 Support Package 30, 3.1C Support Package 24, 3.5 Support Package 16, and BI 7.0 Support Package 6, SAP has optimized the ABAP coding for processing RUNSTATS on BI tables. The first newly introduced main feature is RUNSTATS on partition level. Call RUNSTATS only if necessary. And up from BW 3.5 Support Package 20 and BI 7.0 Support Package 11, SAP supports the new DB2 9 feature, histogram statistics.
