2.2.1 Report <strong>SAP</strong>_BWTOOLPGM_<strong>DB2</strong><br />

If you want a quick overview over the data in your BW system and to search <strong>for</strong><br />

answers to, <strong>for</strong> example, the following questions, you can run report<br />

<strong>SAP</strong>_BWTOOLPGM_<strong>DB2</strong> by transaction SE38 to get answers. Look at <strong>SAP</strong><br />

note 859583 to get more detailed in<strong>for</strong>mation about this report. Figure 2-3 and<br />

Figure 2-4 on page 14 show an example <strong>for</strong> the left and right halves of the output<br />

list of the report listing cubes in the <strong>SAP</strong> <strong>BI</strong> system.<br />

► How big are the DSO/PSA objects or cubes and aggregates?<br />

► Which of my BW objects (PSA/DSO/ fact tables) are partitioned and how<br />

many partitions do they have?<br />

► Which are your widest fact tables?<br />
