BEx Download Scheduler<br />

Assistant <strong>for</strong> downloading precalculated Web templates from the <strong>BI</strong><strong>BI</strong> server to<br />

the PC as HTML pages.<br />

BEx In<strong>for</strong>mation Broadcasting<br />

Function that allows you to make Business Intelligence in<strong>for</strong>mation available to a<br />

broad spectrum of users.<br />

The process of <strong>using</strong> Web applications on mobile devices that have an online<br />

connection to a <strong>BI</strong> system.<br />

BEx Portfolio<br />

KM navigation iView that contains the layout “broadcasting”. This is tailored to<br />

the specific needs of users who use Business Intelligence content in the<br />

Enterprise Portal.<br />

The BEx Portfolio links to a generally accessible KM folder under /documents.<br />

BEx Query Designer<br />

Tool <strong>for</strong> defining queries that are based on a selection of characteristics and key<br />
