Georg Mayer is a Senior Development Engineer <strong>for</strong> the<br />

Joint <strong>SAP</strong> <strong>IBM</strong> Porting Team in Rot, Germany, foc<strong>using</strong> on<br />

<strong>SAP</strong> <strong>BI</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>DB2</strong> on z/<strong>OS</strong>. He joined <strong>IBM</strong> Data Management<br />

in 2001 and has over 18 years of experience with ERP<br />

software, databases, OLTP, and per<strong>for</strong>mance tuning. For<br />

the last 10 years Georg has worked as a development<br />

expert <strong>for</strong> a variety of <strong>SAP</strong> database porting teams in<br />

Walldorf. Prior to working at <strong>IBM</strong>, he worked at In<strong>for</strong>mix®<br />

and Atos. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science<br />

and Mathematics from the University of Stuttgart.<br />

Theodor Kuebler is a Consultant and Trainer <strong>for</strong> <strong>SAP</strong><br />

and Data Management products. He is founder of the<br />

Logos In<strong>for</strong>mations Syteme (LIS) AG in Switzerland<br />

(www.lis-ag.ch), an <strong>IBM</strong> enabled Education Center <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>IBM</strong> Software (ECIS), and an <strong>IBM</strong> Business Partner,<br />

providing classroom and on-site courses in Data<br />

Management and Tivoli. He has 12 years of experience in<br />

implementation and tuning of <strong>SAP</strong> products on database<br />

management systems, such as <strong>DB2</strong> UDB, Adabas-D, and<br />

Oracle on different plat<strong>for</strong>ms. He teaches <strong>SAP</strong> classes.<br />

Martin Cardoso is an IT Architect leading the <strong>SAP</strong><br />

Technical Team in Package Application Services in <strong>IBM</strong><br />

Argentina. He joined <strong>IBM</strong> in 2002 from PwC Consulting,<br />

working as a <strong>SAP</strong> Basis Consultant and <strong>SAP</strong> Basis SME<br />

<strong>for</strong> the SSA region. He has more than 10 years of<br />

experience working with <strong>SAP</strong> technologies. His last Basis<br />

certification was <strong>SAP</strong> NetWeaver® Technical Consultant.<br />

His expertise includes storage and related software,<br />

database technologies, <strong>SAP</strong> NetWeaver technologies, <strong>SAP</strong> capacity planning,<br />

<strong>SAP</strong> per<strong>for</strong>mance and tuning, <strong>SAP</strong> heterogeneous migrations, and now he is<br />

specializing in designing <strong>SAP</strong> infrastructure architectures.<br />
