Now that the data has been reloaded back into the table, take a full image copy<br />

of the tablespace as a first backup. This will cancel the copy pending status of<br />

the tablespace.<br />

Call transaction SE16 (Data Browser) to check the number of entries in the table.<br />

You should have the same number of entries as when you started the table<br />

conversion.<br />

Using the LimitKey function<br />

Note: You must have an index that matches your partitioning key in order to<br />

use the LimitKey function. So, even though you do not need an index that<br />

matches your partitioning key <strong>for</strong> table-controlled partitioning, you will need<br />

one if you want to use the LimitKey function.<br />
