A new, baroque alto recorder with a very strong sound was born out of the collaboration
between Ernst Meyer, Maurice Steger and the Küng Recorder Manfacturing company:
The baroque drill-hole of the Bressan instruments, combined with the high-end voicing from
Ernst Meyer, has resulted in an alto recorder which offers exactly what the younger generation of
recorder players wants:
A voluminous sound from the low to the high registers, powerful, colourful and satisfying – ideal
for playing in larger halls – even together with modern instruments.
The BRESSAN K4 allows virtuoso playing even in extremely difficult combinations of notes.

Bressan K4 alto recorders are available only from Küng – the Recorder Manufacturer, in
CH-8200 Schaffhausen (www.kueng-blockfloeten.ch)
