MISSION STATEMENT
“Learning to live in a Europe of many religions”. The project takes its lead from the special history of Islam in Europe and the
sizeable Muslim population in many European countries. It focuses on Christian-Muslim relations and on the contribution that women
can make to a climate of social and religious peace. It is a 'roaming college', and takes place in five locations: Zurich, Barcelona,
Berlin, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Beirut.

Module I: "Learning in Community -- Dealing with Identity and Difference"
Module II: "History and Memories"
Module III: "Religious Identity: Conflict or the Potential of Pluralism"
Analyse the complex relationship between religion, ethnicity and nationalism in a post-communist situation, with people who are
grappling to heal traumas and to devise new ways of conflict resolution.
Module IV: "The Challenge of Migrant Communities -- How to Live in the New Multireligious Situations"
Module V: "Towards Reconciliation -- Elements for Reconciliation in Christianity and Islam"
A new study course will begin in spring 2007, open to women.
