In mid-September, Vossloh-Schwabe added<br />
a further interesting area to its product<br />
range.<br />
After the dissolution <strong>of</strong> Leuenberger<br />
Technologies Ltd., Switzerland (LTL),<br />
Vossloh-Schwabe acquired all brand rights<br />
and has since been producing the wellknown<br />
LTL devices.<br />
With this step, Vossloh-Schwabe has<br />
ensured continued reliable delivery <strong>of</strong> LTL<br />
products to OEM customers under the VS<br />
brand.<br />
The following products were taken over:<br />
• ballasts for discharge lamps<br />
• control gear units for discharge lamps –<br />
Polypr<strong>of</strong><br />
• instant restrike ignitors, capacitors<br />
• compact safety transformers<br />
for low-voltage halogen lamps –<br />
Unipr<strong>of</strong>, Multipr<strong>of</strong><br />

The fact that VS had already been manufacturing<br />
LTL devices as a subproducer for<br />
several months made it possible to use the<br />
existing facilities to ensure production<br />
continued seamlessly.<br />
Integration Completed<br />
Thanks to the concerted effort <strong>of</strong> all involved,<br />
all outstanding orders for existing<br />
Leuenberger customers were completed<br />
within the shortest space <strong>of</strong> time. The integration<br />
<strong>of</strong> VS processes has been largely<br />
completed so that all products are now in<br />
stock.<br />
The current order book fully indicates the<br />
importance <strong>of</strong> this VS investment for our customers<br />
and underscores Vossoh-Schwabe's<br />
philosophy and market position as a<br />
systems provider for high-quality lighting<br />
