Born in 1982, Yoann Tardivel teaches organ alongside Bernard<br />
Foccroulle at <strong>the</strong> Royal Conservatory of Brussels. His principal teachers<br />
were Michel Bouvard, François Henri Houbart, and Olivier Latry. After<br />
studying at <strong>the</strong> Regional Conservatories of Paris and RueilMalmaison,<br />
he completed his studies at <strong>the</strong> National Conservatory in Paris. In<br />
2008 he was awarded <strong>the</strong> First Grand Prize in Interpretation at <strong>the</strong><br />
Xavier Darasse International Competition in Toulouse, and was <strong>the</strong><br />
E.C.H.O. Young Artist of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Year</strong> for 2009. Marion Ralincourt is<br />
laureate of a number of international competitions: first prize in <strong>the</strong><br />
Krakow International Flute Competition and special prize for <strong>the</strong> best<br />
interpretation in <strong>the</strong> Pendercki Competition (April 2005), third prize<br />
in <strong>the</strong> Carl Nielsen International Competition (Denmark 2006), special<br />
mention in <strong>the</strong> Jean-Pierre Rampal Competition, and laureate in <strong>the</strong><br />
Festival <strong>Music</strong>al d’Automne.<br />
Kotaro Fukuma: piano<br />
ALBÉNIZ: Iberia<br />
Born in Tokyo, Kotaro Fukuma started learning piano at <strong>the</strong> age of<br />
five. He studied music at <strong>the</strong> Conservatoire National Supérieur de<br />
Musique de Paris with Bruno Rigutto and Marie-Francoise Bucquet,<br />
<strong>the</strong>n at <strong>the</strong> Universität der Künste Berlin with Klaus Hellwig and at <strong>the</strong><br />
International Piano Academy Lake Como in Italy. He also has studied<br />
with several pianists, including Leon Fleisher, Mitsuko Uchida, Richard<br />
Goode, Alicia de Larrocha, Maria Joao Pires, Leslie Howard, Dominique<br />
Merlet, and Aldo Ciccolini. In 2003, at <strong>the</strong> age of 20, Kotaro won both<br />
First Prize and <strong>the</strong> Chopin Prize at <strong>the</strong> 15 th Cleveland International<br />
Piano Competition. Since <strong>the</strong>n, his concert career has developed on five<br />
continents including performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center in<br />
New York, Wigmore Hall in London, and many more.
