EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND DISTRICT ADVISORY GROUP
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
There will be two positions on the Executive Committee up for election this fall. Duane Philgreen, Manchester,
has completed his fi rst term on the Executive Committee and is interested in running for re-election.
This position, Vocal Music Representative, is open for election, term ending 2017. Kirk Ahrends, Sloan has
resigned his position as superintendent and as such is not eligible to serve the remainder of his term on the
Executive Committee. This position, Administrative Representative, is also open for election, term ending
2016. Superintendents and High School Principals of member schools are eligible for this position.
Nominations for each vacancy will be taken online, beginning August 10, 2012, and must be submitted by
by August 24, 2012. The top two candidates, plus ties, will be named as nominees for each position. The
Offi cial Ballots, with the qualifi ed nominees' names printed thereon, will be available online to member
schools on September 7, 2012. All votes must be received by August 24, 2012. The newly elected member
will assume duties upon notifi cation of election by the Executive Director. Each member school Superintendent
will be notifi ed via email when the nomination/election process is open and provided instructions
for logging in and completing their nominations.

DISTRICT ADVISORY GROUP ELECTIONS
District Advisory Group members are selected for a three-year term on a rotating basis. Terms will be expiring
for representatives from the northern three districts. This fall we need to elect an Administrative Representative
(Superintendent or High School Principal) from the NW District; an Instrumental Representative
from the NC District; and a Vocal Music Representative from the NE District, terms ending 2015. Ballots
for nomination and election will be included online with the ballots for nomination/election for the Executive
Committee position.

NFHS MUSIC ASSOCIATION - FOR ALL MUSIC TEACHERS
AND/OR ADJUDICATORS
The NFHS Music Association presents an attractive package of benefi ts to persons involved with either
