2.4.2.5 Multipole configuration<br />

Different multipole configurations are used in the <strong>Super</strong>-FRS. These are two different multipole<br />

configurations for the Pre-<strong>Separator</strong> consisting of one quadrupole and one hexapole magnet (see<br />

Figure 2.4.65) and four different multipole configurations used in the Main-<strong>Separator</strong>. A complete<br />

overview of those configurations is given in Figure 2.4.66.<br />
