2D-Magnetic design<br />

The dipoles for the Magnetic Spectrometer and Energy Buncher at the exit of the Low-Energy<br />

Branch are also superferric magnets with warm iron but SC coils. To guarantee the required resolving<br />

power of the facilities the magnets must have a large magnetic volumes. The specifications<br />

of the dipole magnet are listed in Table 2.4.8 and its cross section is shown in Figure 2.4.36.<br />
