Monte-Carlo calculation using the measured neutron spectra mentioned above [121].<br />

Three representative modes of the <strong>Super</strong>-FRS were investigated to cover the large variety of settings<br />

in the experimental operating:<br />

• separation of a fragment with similar magnetic rigidity compared to the primary beam, e.g.<br />

132 Sn by projectile fission of 238 U,<br />

• separation of a very neutron rich fragment 11 Li by fragmentation of 18 O,<br />

• separation a very neutron deficient fragment 100 Sn by fragmentation of 124 Xe.<br />
