Wiseco’s world class in-house forging facility utilizes the latest technology - Complex forged shapes,
advanced materials, and featured aligned grain flow technology.
1 Valve Pocket designs that allow maximum flow around the valve, also allowing oversized valves
and big lift cams to be utilized.
2 Piston Crown shapes designed to promote maximum intake charge efficiency thru
scavenging mixture, “Cross Flow”, during intake and exhaust valve overlap. More fuel and air
equals more horsepower!
3 Ultra-hard Electra-coating eliminates micro-welding of the piston rings to the grooves, and prevents
galling in the pin bore. Electra-coated domes offer protection against erosion from detonation,
and help reflect heat into the combustion chamber, keeping the piston cooler.
4 Pistons designed to optimize squish during combustion, resulting in resistance to detonation and
pre-ignition. The end product is longer engine life and increased horsepower potential.
5 Precision machined ring grooves provide excellent surface finish and flatness, which maximizes
ring seal and minimizes blow-by and oil consumption.
6 Complex piston skirt profiles that reduce friction, yet promote stability in the bore for optimum ring
seal. Wiseco has included ArmorGlide skirt coating on many of our currant high-performance
snowmobile applications.
