1. This weekend has been arranged to allow Eastern Area <strong>Sea</strong> <strong>Cadets</strong> to take part in<br />

the Area .22 Shooting competition. CRCQ (SB) & SA (SR) <strong>07</strong> holders will also be able to<br />

revalidate at this event.<br />

2. Teams will consist of 4 <strong>Cadets</strong> + 1 Staff Team Manager/Coach<br />

Rules for the competition can be found in EAM 05/11 dated 20 Sep 20<strong>12</strong>. <strong>The</strong>re will be the<br />

capability to train and test a small number of cadets on the Saturday to enable Units who do<br />

not normally shoot to take part in the competition. However, where possible <strong>Cadets</strong> and<br />

Coaches should arrive with a current WHT passed within the last 6 months. Up to date<br />

SCC42’s to be produced when booking in.<br />

3. <strong>The</strong> competition will take place over the weekend Friday 08 to Sunday 10 February<br />

20<strong>12</strong>.<br />

4. <strong>The</strong> accommodation for the weekend will be Leicester SCC Unit and the competition<br />

will be held at the Indoor Range, TA Centre, Ulverscroft Road, Leics.<br />

5. VA & Travel will be in accordance with current Eastern Area policy.<br />

6. <strong>The</strong> cost for the weekend is as follows:<br />

a. Arrive Friday evening, depart Sunday PM – Staff & <strong>Cadets</strong> £<strong>12</strong> each<br />

b. Arrive Sat morning, depart Sunday PM – Staff & <strong>Cadets</strong> £<strong>12</strong> each<br />

c. Arrive Sat evening, depart Sunday PM – <strong>Cadets</strong> £5, Staff £5<br />

d. Arrive Sun morning for competition only – Free to all.<br />

7. Applications with payment (cheques made payable to MSSC) should be submitted on<br />

the attached form and forwarded to: ASO (WT), Lt (SCC) S Greenfield, details as per the<br />

Area Directory. Email entries will be accepted but must be followed up with hard copy and<br />

payment within 7 days of the email. It is important that the entry forms and payment are sent<br />

to the correct address as any sent to the incorrect address will remain Pending on<br />

Westminster and risk Rejection on the Westminster closing date. Ensure an email address<br />

is included on the entry form for joining instructions. CLOSING DATE: 25 January<br />

2013<br />

8. Staff members are required to run additional duties such as RCOs (must be qualified,<br />

ideal time to revalidate), Medic, Ammunition Officer, Weapons Instructor etc. Apply using<br />

attached form, indicating which duty.<br />

9. Joining Instructions and Kit List will be sent to Units on receipt of application.<br />

10. Cancel this EATM 11 Feb 2013.<br />
