The eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g units used <strong>in</strong> the<br />

automation system for display, sensor<br />

ranges, and so on can now as signal<br />

elements centrally stored <strong>in</strong> the W<strong>in</strong>MOD<br />

project as <strong>in</strong>ternal formats.<br />

In this way the eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g units are not<br />

longer distributed over many signal and<br />

simulation elements. They are <strong>in</strong>stead of that<br />

centrally listed <strong>in</strong> the project w<strong>in</strong>dow.<br />

The eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g path for scal<strong>in</strong>gs of<br />

automation systems leads from the<br />

eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g of the automation system via the<br />

W<strong>in</strong>MOD project w<strong>in</strong>dow <strong>in</strong>to the W<strong>in</strong>MOD<br />

simulation files.<br />

Changes <strong>in</strong> the automation system can be<br />

easily updated <strong>in</strong> simulation.<br />

Advantages:<br />

 systematic eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g path<br />

 clear survey<br />

 simple change management<br />
