<strong>Co</strong>nstruction: Leak tight, flow optimised disc with double excentric journal. Easy<br />

replaceable main-gasket in one-piece design, adjustable retaining ring. Shaft bearings<br />

maintenance free. Radial sealing of shafts by O-rings.<br />

Open – Close indication on gear box body (not for buried installation).<br />

Driving modes:<br />

• with gear box and hand wheel<br />

• with gear box and stem extension for buried installation<br />

Materials: Body and disc: ductile cast iron acc. to DIN EN 1563. Body inside<br />

persistent enamelled, including seat. Disc complete enamelled. Profiled main gasket and shaft<br />

sealings high quality elastomer. Retaining ring up to DN 500: EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG 40),<br />

enamelled. Internal fastenings: stainless steel. Shafts made of stainless steel with polished<br />

surface. Maintenance free bushings made of gunmetal, alternative stainless steel with<br />

PTFE fabric liner.<br />

Sockets: Push-in socket with Novo pre-chamber<br />

acc. to DIN 28 603<br />
