· The precisely manufactured piston is provided with a high-alloyed piston
ring, oil wiper ring and oil rubbing ring which take over the sealing of the
cylinder wall
· The crankcase is filled with oil which is splashed to the cylinder wall with
each piston strike
· The oil scraper ring strips off the oil-moistened cylinder wall downward
