Under certain circumstances, depending on the used hoses, the connectors
may also be used at higher pressures and temperatures. Please contact us.
Applicable tube materials/types*
Plastic tubes PE, PA, or PUR tube materials which correspond
to the tolerances (see below). For soft and
thin-walled tubes, we generally recommend the
use of supporting collets as well as the control
of pressure ranges of the tubes used. (Please
contact us).
Metal tubes (soft) Brass, copper-aluminium tubes which
correspond to the tolerances (see below).
Metal tube (hard) resp. Here is necessary to check the usability of the
plug-in
surface treated connectors first.

It is absolutely required that the outer diameter of the tubes does not show
any defects or longitudinal marks.
Installation
Check if all tubes and connectors are clean and undamaged before
using them. It is imperatively necessary that the tube surface does not show
any corrugations, dents or any similar damages.

Our connectors may be used with the following tube diameters and
tolerances.

Installation and system test
All tubes and connectors must be clean and intact before they may be used.
After the installation, all hose and connector installation
are to be tested pressure-resistant in order to guarantee that the system is
pressure-tight before it is delivered to the customer.

Testing the system
For test purposes we recommend you to test the system before
commissioning as follows, irrespective if it is concerning a new or an existing
system:
· The system has to be tested at an operating pressure of 10 bars during
a period of 10 minutes.
· Pressure relief of the system to 0 bar.
· Then, the system is to be tested subsequently with a working pressure of
2 bars over a period of time of 10 minutes.

aggressive liquids, please contact us.
Attention: our connectors are not appropriate for the use with explosive
gas, paraffin and other fuels.
Protective caps
They are available as an additional protection against slipping off of the
hose or as a protection (marking) for colour distinction (see accessories on
the following pages).
Food resistance
All connectors mapped in this catalogue fulfil the directives of the food
regulation and may thus be used for food applications without any
problems.

It is recommended to test all installations before use,
in order to guarantee that the assembly has been correctly performed. The
tightness is also to be tested.
The maximum torque is geared to the use of our connectors and refers to
types used in this catalogue according to the international specification.
warranty
Although we give a warranty against manufacturing errors and material
defects, it is the responsibility of the user to guarantee, that the
connectors and similar products are appropriate for the application. The
installation must be performed according to our recommendations and the
valid releases and national standards have to be respected and followed.
Within this period, no leakages are to be detected at the connections.
Therefore, sealing plugs and end caps are sometimes useful in order to
simply close the outflow openings and to create a sealed connection.
When our products are integrated into complete systems, we recommend
self-contained tests (functional checks, flow rate checks, chemical
resistance, etc.). For safety checks, we further recommend to document
these test results in writing.
