Compressed air refrigeration dryer
Compressed air refrigeration dryer series AD
An investment which rapidly pays off
The fact that dry compressed air is efficient
is obvious. With the AIRCRAFT ® AD, this
calculation will even result better for you.
Since the sum of these advantages will provide
for that
you can achieve your potential for cost-saving
even more rapid:
· Enhanced energy efficiency thanks to a
particularly larger heat exchanger surface
· Avoiding unfavourable discharge of the flow of
compressed air
· Avoiding additional flow resistance due
to amply dimensioned compressed air
connections - less loss of pressure
· Almost 100% drop separation thanks to an
intelligent construction
No unnecessary loss of compressed air due to
integrated, level-controlled condensate drain
The constructive structure of the AIRCRAFT ® AD
convinces with clarity and accessibility. The two
only maintenance positions, condenser and
BEKOMAT ® , are accessible over large, easy-toopen
covers. This way, maintenance works can be
easily performed.
The difference is in the details
1) Hot compressed air, saturized with humidity is
cooled down to a temperature of +3°C. The large
heat exchanger does not only favour a particularly
effective cooling down,
the construction also reduces the flow resistance
to an absolute minimum.
2) Other than for many common systems, the
air is flowing in a downward direction movement
through the heat exchanger. The gravity and the
profile are being used for a particularly high
drop separation of almost 99%. In the very large
condensate collection room, the flow speed
will be considerably reduced. A carrying away
of already separated drops is this way avoided
reliably.
3) Before the outlet from the dryer, the dried cold
compressed air is heated up in the air/air heat
exchanger. In doing so, the relative humidity is
considerably reduced and the used cooling power
is regained by up to 60%.
4) The resulting condensate is being discharged,
avoiding loss of compressed air through the
level-controlled BEKOMAT ® condensate separator
from the AIRCRAFT ® AD refrigeration dryer and
can be prepared reliably with the processing
systems such as the oil/water separation system
ÖWAMAT ® .
Dry
compressed
air
Using saving potentials - reducing maintenance cost
Compared to the investments, the energy cost
are forming the largest part of the total cost.
Therefore, you can find the highest saving
potential here.
Besides the little energy cost, the AIRCRAFT ®
AD refrigeration dryer also reduces the cost for
maintenance permanently.
As it is generally known, the humidity represents
the most important risk for all components which
are getting into contact with it. It already starts at
a relative humidity for compressed air of about
70%, since already at these little humidity values,
bacteria are forming. From 40% relative humidity
on, the corrosion process will then increase
disproportionately high.
In the majority of all applications, the requirement
in cooling and drying of the basic compressed
air is limited to "standard values": Cooling
up to almost 0°C and this way almost a 100%
condensation of the water vapour included in the
compressed air.
The AIRCRAFT ® AD provides for an efficient
separation of compressed air and water vapour as
well as the safe separation of the condensate.
Condensate
The reliable condensate discharge is undertaken
by a BEKOMAT ® . The proven standard in this field
of application.
