The October-December Bulletin's Koala Count
incorrectly listed a reprinted 95c Kangaroo
stamp. The listing should have read
0110067 Wombat $0.95
The Koala Count identifies specific
reprints. A koala symbol printed in the
selvedge adjacent to stamps, down either
side of a sheet, indicates a reprint, two
koalas a second reprint, and so on.
A kangaroo indicates the fifth reprint.
Agency Countries
Australia Post sells stamps and other philatelic products
issued by Fiji, Nauru, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea,
Pitcairn Islands and Western Samoa. Australia Post deals
only in agency countries’ mint stock. Orders for first day
covers and postmarked material should be directed to the
bureau concerned.
Stamps from these countries are available by mail order
only. All new issues available from Australia Post carry a
25% service charge. Agency countries’ issues listed in this
Bulletin include the 25% service charge. Conversion rates
as at 25 October1999 apply.

stamps, please contact the Australian Philatelic Bureau on
Freecall 1800 331 794. Alternatively, you may order direct
from the bureau of the country concerned. Addresses are

Nauru’s souvenir sheet commemorating
the 30th Anniversary of the first manned
moon landing
China 99
A souvenir sheet issued by Nauru to
commemorate its participation in China-99
World Philatelic Exhibition (Beijing, 21 to 30
August 1999). It features two x 50c stamps, one
showing Tursiops truncatus, the other Xiphias
gladius. Chinese women and buildings
decorate the background.
