The October-December Bulletin's Koala Count<br />

incorrectly listed a reprinted 95c Kangaroo<br />

<strong>stamp</strong>. The listing should have read<br />

0110067 Wombat $0.95<br />

The Koala Count identifies specific<br />

reprints. A koala symbol printed in the<br />

selvedge adjacent to <strong>stamp</strong>s, down either<br />

side of a sheet, indicates a reprint, two<br />

koalas a second reprint, and so on.<br />

A kangaroo indicates the fifth reprint.<br />

Agency Countries<br />

<strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> sells <strong>stamp</strong>s and other philatelic products<br />

issued by Fiji, Nauru, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea,<br />

Pitcairn Islands and Western Samoa. <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> deals<br />

only in agency countries’ mint stock. Orders for first day<br />

covers and postmarked material should be directed to the<br />

bureau concerned.<br />

Stamps from these countries are available by mail order<br />

only. All new issues available from <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> carry a<br />

25% service charge. Agency countries’ issues listed in this<br />

Bulletin include the 25% service charge. Conversion rates<br />

as at 25 October1999 apply.<br />

commemorate its participation in China-99<br />

World Philatelic Exhibition (Beijing, 21 to 30<br />

August 1999). It features two x 50c <strong>stamp</strong>s, one<br />

showing Tursiops truncatus, the other Xiphias<br />

gladius. Chinese women and buildings<br />

decorate the background.<br />
