1975 OUTLOOK
We face a very tough schedule in that
five of our Western Athletic Conference
games are on the road this year, says coach
Young. This makes the season very challenging.
We do have good nucleus to build
the team on and the attitude and dedication
of the players and coaching staff will go a
long way in determining the outcome of the
season.
Regarding personnel losses: Principal
losses from 1974 were Jim Upchurch (FB)
and Willie Hamilton (HB) on offense; and
Roussell Williams and Vince Phason (defensive
backs); and punter Mitch Hoopes.
But, replacements seem to be adequate,
according to Coach Young. "As a matter of
fact, we have the best depth ever at running
Also on the positive note says Young,
shape with Hill, quarterback and receivers
Bell and Piper all returning."
