A Checklist for Choosing <strong>Schools</strong> When checking out high schools, consider the following as you decide which ones are the best options for you: School Name School Name School Name Important questions to consider What are the school’s student achievement data, such as MCAS results, AYP status, promotion and graduation rates, and percentage of graduates going on to college? Does the school have a special admissions process? (All of BPS’s exam schools and some of the small schools do.) What is the school’s curriculum and style of teaching? What services and programs are available for students who need extra academic support or counseling? Where is the school located?
