This makes it possible for all students and families to be known well. Parents take an active role in all aspects of the school. At LGF, we integrate the use of technology into the curriculum. Each student has his/her own laptop computer for use all day at school. Parents are offered technology training (in English, Spanish, or Somali) through the Tech Goes Home program and are given a new laptop at the end of the course. Parents are able to access student grades, teacher lessons/assignments on line and are able to communicate with teachers via phone and through the technology.
