MOBALine -
Makes time distribution easy
MOBALine is a two wire transmission system
for maintenance-free self-setting clocks and
remotely synchronized computer based
systems.
MOBALine controls:
• self-setting analogue and digital clocks
• relays; switching of remotely located electrical loads such as light,
heat, bells, ...
MOBALine sets time of:
• any system designed to be synchronized by DCF 77, DCF-FSK or
IRIG-B time code.
MOBATIME Server MTS
Master Clock
Reliable, precise master clock and time reference for all computer
and processor controlled devices, networks and IT applications.
The Concept
Various interfaces to supply time and date information as programmable
serial time messages via RS 232 / RS 422 or as audio
frequency time codes such as IRIG, AFNOR, DCF-FSK as well as
precise, programmable time pulses. Network processor with TCP/IP
stack for synchronization of computers on LAN with SNTP, SNMP
traps for central monitoring of the device. Can be synchronized with
numerous time references such as DCF, MSF, GPS, LAN, LON and
ASCII time messages via serial interface.
SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol)
The SNTP protocol allows synchronization of distributed clocks to the
precise time, i.e. the internal clock of the PC‘s connected to the LAN.
It is simple to install, easy to use and an effective way to synchronize
all computers on a LAN to the correct time.
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)
With the MTS, this protocol is used to supervise the correct operation
of the MTS remotely from the SNMP management station.
e-mail
In case of any irregularity, the MTS can send an e-mail to a configurable
address.
Time Code Receiver
AD 10
DCF 380 TL
DCF 77 reception
The DCF 77 signal transmitter is located in Mainflingen near Frankfurt.
The time information transmitted from the atomic clock has a
range of some 2000 km. Depending on the location of the clock
installation and the local reception conditions, we provide the most
appropriate receiver.
DCF 450
Standard receiver for normal reception conditions.
DCF 450
AD 10
More selective with increased sensitivity. It is particularly suited for
difficult reception conditions.
DCF 380 TL
The receiver part is electrically isolated from the electronics by a
fibre optic link. Thus it is suitable for extreme reception conditions
with high interference levels of the mains supply.
