Patents Rules 1992 – Rule 77 – Office Closure
This Office will be closed to the public on Monday 2 nd May 2005.
Online Payment of Renewal Fees for Patents, Registered Trade Marks and Registered Designs.
On and from 15 December 2004 it will be possible to pay renewal fees due in respect of Patents, Registered
Trade Marks and Designs which have been registered under the Industrial Designs Act 2001, by credit card
or debit card on-line through the Patents Office website www.patentsoffice.ie.
It should be noted that it will not be possible to pay any other statutory fees on-line until further notice.
Master Card and Visa credit cards and Irish Laser debit cards will be accepted for the purpose of making the
renewal payments referred to above on-line.
