<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Union Defense Committee in New York, <strong>the</strong> Sou<strong>the</strong>rn<br />

Relief Committee, <strong>the</strong> New England Soldiers Relief Association,<br />

and various o<strong>the</strong>r patriotic and benevolent organizations.<br />

organization, supply, condition, and disposition <strong>of</strong> New York<br />
