Lectotype female, USNM no. 9039; Zanesville, Ohio, from eggs of<br />

Brochymena sp. on currant; thorax somewhat damaged. Two para-<br />

lectotypes (male and female).<br />

Telenomus persimilis Ashmead<br />

Telenomus persimilis Ashmead, 1893, pp. 143, 150,<br />

T)^e lost; type locality, Arlington, Va. Specimens from Agricultural<br />

College, Michigan, mentioned by Ashmead as being the same, are<br />

in the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Museum</strong>; they have been used as a basis for identi-<br />

fication of this species.<br />

Lectotype female, USNM no. 2224; St. Louis, Mo., June 9, 1879, from<br />

eggs of Podisus maculiventris (Say); well preserved. Two female<br />

paralectotypes on same card with lectotype, which is circled in red<br />

ink.<br />

Lectotype female, USNM no. 20604; central Japan, from eggs of Dic-<br />

typloca japonica (Moore); well preserved. Two female paralecto-<br />

types, on the same card point with the lectotype, which is the mid-<br />

dle specimen and is indicated by a red-ink mark.<br />

Telenomus promachivorus (Gahan)<br />

P hanurus promac hii'orus Gahan, 1924, p. 21.<br />

Holotype female, USNM no. 26184; Koiwai, Japan, Sept. 1, 1921, from<br />

eggs oi Promac has yesonicus Bigot, C.P. Clausen; well preserved.<br />

Allotype (male) and 13 paratypes (males and females).
