Leptacis breviventris Ashmead, 1893, pp. 271, 273.<br />
Lectotype female (selected by Fouts, 1924b, p. 134),USNM no. 25466;<br />
District of Columbia; both antennae off. The male described by<br />
Ashmead is not the same species as the lectotype.<br />

Holotype female, USNM no. 67843; Brownwood, Tex., May 1, 1924,<br />
R. M. Fouts; well preserved. Unique.<br />
Synopeas cynipsiphilum (Ashmead)<br />
Leptacis cynipsiphila Ashmead, 1887b, p. 129.<br />
Lectotype female (selected by Fouts, 1924b, p. 129), USNM no. 2861;<br />
Jacksonville, Fla.; both antennae missing. The male recorded by<br />
Ashmead is not the same species as the lectotype.<br />

District of Columbia; well preserved, both antennae mounted on a<br />
slide. The male recorded by Ashmead is not the same species as<br />
the lectotype.<br />
Synopeas floridanum (Ashmead)<br />
Leptacis floridanus Ashmead, 1893, pp. 271, 272.<br />
Lectotype male (selected by Fouts, 1924b, p. 135), USNM no. 25468;<br />
Jacksonville, Fla.; right antenna on a slide, gaster missing; the<br />
gaster which is mounted on the same card point is that of a female.<br />
The 3 other specimens included by Ashmead in the type series are<br />
not the same species as the lectotype.<br />
