THE ROLE OF DENK'S OPERATION IN THE TREATMENT OF RECURRENT<br />

PATELLAR DISLOCATIONS<br />

Introduction:The aim was to evaluate distal and proximal procedures to find the best<br />

guideline for the treatment of recurrent dislocations in our daily practice.Between<br />

2002 and 2008 treated 358 patiens with patellar dislocations. We described the<br />

outcomes with Lysholm score. The patellofemoral congruence and alignment<br />

detected by radiographs. The state of the patellofemoral arthrosis was described with<br />

the help of the arthroscopical findindgs (Outerbridge). The follow up periodes were 1-<br />

6 years.Results:There were 181 monoluxations and 177 recurrent dislocations.X-ray<br />

results: Patellar morphology: Wiberg 1:10%, 2:72%, 3:18%. Trochlear morphology:<br />

Dejour et al. A:63%, B:10%, C:27%. Sulcus angle 135º>41%, 135º-145º: 25%,<br />

145º
