acceptable compromises for both services. Discussing concerns with senior managers to explore strategic solutions and
compromise.

Equality and Diversity
15.1 The equality and diversity policies of Leicestershire County Council and of each District Council will underpin the way the
various agencies address the accommodation needs of young people.
15.2 Workers in both agencies are expected to promote the principles of equality and diversity and seek the elimination of
discrimination on these grounds.
15.3 Services will be delivered in a fair, equitable and non discriminatory manner.
15.4 Young people will be encouraged to participate in the decision making process around their accommodation needs.
