Considered – A proposed resolution to exclude members of the public and
press from the meeting for the forthcoming item.
Resolved:
“That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the public
be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that the
item involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in
paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act.
Exemption Categories: 1 and 3.
Reason for Exemption: the report contains personal and financial
information about individual members of staff.
Public Interest Test: The public interest test has been considered and, in all
the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the
exemption is considered to outweigh the public interest in disclosing the
information.”

RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. That the redundancy and associated costs of post number 015322 be
approved.
2. That the Director be granted delegated authority to implement the
recommendation 1 (above) and take necessary consequential action.
Reason:
The proposed changes will deliver a fit for purpose management of parks
and open spaces and reflect the current business needs.
