9. TIME, DATE, PLACE OF NEXT MEETING
Note: The Audit Committee is constituted by the Council as a Special Committee under the
provisions of Section 24 of the Local Government Act 1993. The Committee’s charter provides
for the purpose of the Committee and the manner in which it is to conduct its meetings. There
are no further obligations on the Committee under the Local Government Act as to meeting
conduct and timing of meetings of the Committee and as such these matters are at the discretion
of the Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Committee determine a suitable date (depending on the outcomes determined under
Item 5) for the scheduling of the next Audit Committee Meeting.
Decision: It was NOTED
“That the timing for the next 2 meetings of the Committee and for the
forthcoming year was as decided under Items 5 and 8”.
There being no further business the Meeting was declared closed at 5.37pm
