RECOMMENDATION:
That the advice be noted.
Decision: It was RESOLVED
“A. That the advice be noted; and
7. SIGNIFICANT INSURANCE/LEGAL CLAIMS
B. That the General Manager and Corporate Secretary follow up on
the status of the alternative backup power supply proposed under
the Management Action Plan for Project 19 and provide a further
report on this matter to the next Committee meeting”.
There has been no claims activity since the last report to the Committee.
Claims review meetings between the insurers and Council staff, occur on an infrequent basis. At
the next available time, the need to continue with the long term listed matters will be raised with
the insurers.

Mr Mazengarb suggested that the Committee work towards establishing a full year calendar for

“That to achieve a full year calendar of meetings, the Committee meetings
be scheduled to occur on at least a quarterly basis and that the
Chairperson and the corporate secretary liaise on the development of a
suitable meeting schedule for 2012/13”.
