United Bank Fitness Challenge raises funds for track
During the past summer, United
Bank of Iowa sponsored a fi tness
challenge to promote wellness
among employees. During June,
UBI employees in Rockwell City,
Lake City, Lohrville and the other
20 UBI locations were encouraged
to add more exercise to their daily
lifestyle and given tips on healthy
eating.
The challenge was for employees
to average 30 minutes of aerobic

this challenge was met, United Bank
of Iowa pledged to make donations
to local health related organizations
or programs designated by the
employees in recognition of their
efforts. Employee activities during
June ranged from the normal riding,
running, walking to fi lling sandbags
for those battling fl ood waters.
