A Provincial Community Places Grant application has been submitted. The items included are:-
o Insulating the exterior foundation wall of the 1926 building (upper hall, conference room and
nursery) in order to reduce heat loss through the wall,
o Rebuilding/asphalting the driveway to improve the safety of persons alighting from their cars,
and
o Replacing five old style toilets with water efficient ones.
The cost of doing these three items is approximately $ 38,000. The amount requested from CPP is $
Ride Coordinator Report 2011
Thank you to all the faithful drivers who so willingly help many of our parishioners attend church regularly. I
know these rides are greatly appreciated and I always get a positive response to a request for a ride. It does
help to let a driver know a day, or a couple of days ahead, if a ride is needed. Please think about being a driver.
I am the Ride Coordinator and I can be reached at 253-9456.
Respectfully submitted,
I bet you didn’t think it was a ministry but.....”IT IS!!”
If you want the Coffee Ministry to continue, we need more people to volunteer to take a turn. Sign-up sheets
are on the refirdgerator door. Just bring milk and cookies and everything else is at the church! Coffee time is
very important, please consider helping!
