Camp Ground; 2. Resort for RV's and boating; 3. Storage facility for RVs and boats; 4. Highway services; 5. Recycle center for substances that can be used for AG and Caltrans uses (Non-hazardous) Consistent with Preferred Alt.: Maybe. The site is located near a major highway interchange and would create new commercial development. However, this request would convert open space to urban uses. It is also adjacent to another request which is identified for freeway commercial uses (C/FS). County Staff Recommendation: No. Staff anticipates continuing the 2010 General Plan policies for C/R development that require a 100 acre minimum. This would not result in the intended uses of the C/R designation. Is also located in a flood hazard area. The preferred Alternative encourages commercial and employment uses at major highway interchanges provided that appropriate access and adequate infrastructure and services are provided. County Staff Recommendation: Yes. This request would support industrial, job generating developments with supporting commercial uses. Staff recommends General Plan policy standards requiring infrastructure and services to be funded, constructed, and maintained by the developer/ property owner.
