] ] REGULAR BOARD HEETING HARCH 17, 1993 TOWN HALL 7:30 P.M. Jf-Councilman Wittmeyer reported oh the Traffic Safety Committee Meeting that was held on March 9, 1993. Traffic Safety Committee is recommending that we do petition the County or State to ask for another study oh Back Creek Road near the school to see if they will put additional signage or a light. Councilman Wittmeyer made a motion seconded by Supervisor Kennedy to send a request to the State or County for a study on Back Creek Road near the school for additional signage or light and speed reduction to 15 mph. five (5) Ayes Carried Councilman Wittmeyer asked on behalf of the Traffic Safety Committee that the Town install "Playground" sign on Meadow Drive at both sides of the entry to the North Boston Stadium. Traffic Safety also asked that the Town follow-up on the request that the E.Z. Shoppe move the mail boxes to obtain clear sight on the State Road. Councilman Wittmeyer reported that Sgt. Broderick and Trooper Carpenter responded to the complaints received regarding the cars blocking visibility at So. Abbott and Herman Hill Road requesting that the cars be removed from the lot or kept back from the corner. This will be closely monitored. Councilman Wittmeyer reported that a section of the new Town Law Manual received last month, contained a section that towns may post their own road sigris, such as stop signs, yield signs, etc. this was referred to Town Attorney Perley for review and have asked him for an opinion. Erie County Sheriff's Report for February 1993 received and on file in the Town Clerk's Office. . V •( REGULAR BOARD MEETING APRIL 7, 1993 TOWN HALL 7:30 P.M. Present were Councilman Mark W. Flowers, Councilman Milton I Wittmeyer, Councilman David G. Zimmerman, Town Attorney Michael F. Perley, Highway Superintendent Eugene E. Ruchalski. Councilmari Dori A. Wohlhueter was absent. A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by Councilman Zimmerman to appoint Richard L. Kennedy to the position of Town Supervisor for the balance of his elected term which expires December 31, 1993. Councilman Flowers, provided the salary that was discussed at the Agenda Review will remain the same. I will vote yes. three (3) Ayes Carried Richard L. Kennedy was sworn into the office of Supervisor by Town Clerk David J. Shenk. A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by Councilman Zimmerman to accept the adoption of the minutes of the March 17, 1993 Regular Monthly Heeting with the following correction: under Councilman Wittmeyer's Traffic Safety Committee Report change the "Motion" with reference to School Sign, Speed Reduction in School Zone on Back Creek Road to a "Resolution." four (4) Ayes Carried A motion was made by Supervisor Kerinedy and seconded by Councilman Zimmerman that the General Fund and Special District Bills on Abstract #4 dated April 7, 1993 in the amount of $29,897.66 be paid. four (4) Ayes Carried A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by Councilman Flowers that the Highway Bills on Abstract #4 dated April 7, 1993 in the amount of $84,729.61 be paid four (4) Ayes Carried A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by Councilman Wittmeyer to correct General Fund and Special District Abstract #3 dated Harch 3, 1993 as follows: Voucher #150 From: To: four (4) Ayes A5010.4 A3310.4 Richard-Cin-Signs & Supplies, Inc. A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />
Councilman Zimmerman to appoint Richard L. Kennedy to the<br />
