Present were Councilman Mark H. Flowers, Councilman Don A.<br />

Hohlhueter, Councilman Milton I. Hittmeyer, Councilman David G.<br />

Zimmerman, Supervisor Richard L. Kennedy, Town Attorney Michael<br />

F. Perley, Highway Supeririterident Eugerie E. Ruchalski.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Hittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilmari Zimmerman to accept the correction and adoption of<br />

the minutes of the March 3, 1993 Regular Monthly Meetirig.<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by<br />

Councilmari Hohlhueter that the General Furid and Special District<br />

Bills on Abstract t3A dated Harch 17, 1993 in the amount of<br />

$63,900.60 bs paid<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer that the Highway Bills on Abstract #3A<br />

dated Harch 17, 1993 in the amount of $9,170.79 be paid.<br />

Letter was received from Alfonse D'Amato, United States Senator<br />

acknowledging letter he received from the Town Board concerning<br />

the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Reorganization Plan to move jobs<br />

out of New York State. D'Amato said he wOuld work to prevent<br />

this plan from happening.<br />

Letter received from Sally Cooney, Equalization Rates Bureau<br />

announcing that the new Town of Boston Final Equalization Rate<br />

will be 83.38. This rate will be used for the school tax<br />

collection this fall and the 94 Town & County tax collection<br />

next spring.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy proudly announced that through the efforts of<br />

the Town Assessor, Hilliam Kleis he was able to get the Town's<br />

Assessment Roll changed by 3.2% margin. This will result in a<br />

substantial benefit to our community.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy commented that Town Assessor, Hilliam Kleis<br />

has indicated that the increase we received last year from the<br />

Franchise Assessment of the gas, electric, Niagara Mohawk and<br />

the New York Telephone in the amount of $800,000.00 which was<br />

base on the old equalization rate will be lost this year. The<br />

State of New lork has elected to diminish that increase which we<br />

received in Franchise Assessments last year. However this<br />

should change when the final equalization is used.<br />

Resolutions received from the Town of Grand Island and<br />

Cheektowaga regarding Highway Bridge and Trust Fund.<br />

Resolution received from the Town of Tonawanda regarding Drunken<br />

Driving Fees.<br />

RESOLUTION 1993-11 DRUNKEN DRIVING FEES<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by<br />

Councilman Hittmeyer to appoint Joseph Santonocito to the Zoning<br />

Board of Appeals, term to expire April 1, 1998.<br />

Letter from the Boston Chamber of Commerce, Inc. advising the<br />

Town Board of the recently established Economic Development<br />

Planning Committee, accompanied by a summary of their activities<br />

to date, received and on file in the Town Clerks Office.<br />
