REGULAR BOARD MEETING

Present were Councilman Mark H. Flowers, Councilman Don A.
Hohlhueter, Councilman Milton I. Hittmeyer, Councilman David G.
Zimmerman, Supervisor Richard L. Kennedy, Town Attorney Michael
F. Perley, Highway Supeririterident Eugerie E. Ruchalski.
A motion was made by Councilman Hittmeyer and seconded by
Councilmari Zimmerman to accept the correction and adoption of
the minutes of the March 3, 1993 Regular Monthly Meetirig.

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by
Councilmari Hohlhueter that the General Furid and Special District
Bills on Abstract t3A dated Harch 17, 1993 in the amount of
$63,900.60 bs paid

A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by
Councilman Wittmeyer that the Highway Bills on Abstract #3A
dated Harch 17, 1993 in the amount of $9,170.79 be paid.

Letter was received from Alfonse D'Amato, United States Senator
acknowledging letter he received from the Town Board concerning
the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Reorganization Plan to move jobs
out of New York State. D'Amato said he wOuld work to prevent
this plan from happening.
Letter received from Sally Cooney, Equalization Rates Bureau
announcing that the new Town of Boston Final Equalization Rate
will be 83.38. This rate will be used for the school tax
collection this fall and the 94 Town & County tax collection
next spring.
Supervisor Kennedy proudly announced that through the efforts of
the Town Assessor, Hilliam Kleis he was able to get the Town's
Assessment Roll changed by 3.2% margin. This will result in a
substantial benefit to our community.
Supervisor Kennedy commented that Town Assessor, Hilliam Kleis
has indicated that the increase we received last year from the
Franchise Assessment of the gas, electric, Niagara Mohawk and
the New York Telephone in the amount of $800,000.00 which was
base on the old equalization rate will be lost this year. The
State of New lork has elected to diminish that increase which we
received in Franchise Assessments last year. However this
should change when the final equalization is used.
Resolutions received from the Town of Grand Island and
Cheektowaga regarding Highway Bridge and Trust Fund.
Resolution received from the Town of Tonawanda regarding Drunken
Driving Fees.
RESOLUTION 1993-11 DRUNKEN DRIVING FEES
A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by
Councilman Hittmeyer to appoint Joseph Santonocito to the Zoning
Board of Appeals, term to expire April 1, 1998.

Letter from the Boston Chamber of Commerce, Inc. advising the
Town Board of the recently established Economic Development
Planning Committee, accompanied by a summary of their activities
to date, received and on file in the Town Clerks Office.
