7:30 P.H.<br />
Present were Councilman Mark W. Flowers, Councilman Don A.<br />
Wohlhueter, Councilman Milton I. Wittmeyer (Deputy Supervisor),<br />
Town Attorney Michael F. Perley, Highway Superintendent Eugene<br />
E. Ruchalski.<br />
Absent: Supervisor Richard L. Kennedy<br />
In Supervisor Kennedy absence Deputy Supervisor Wittmeyer will<br />
chair the meeting.<br />
A motion was made by Council Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />
Councilman Flowers to accept t;he correction and adoption of the<br />
minutes of the February 17, 1993 Regular Monthly Meeting.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />
Councilman Zimmerman that the Highway Bills on Abstract #3 dated<br />
March 3, 1993 in the amount of $31,620.96 be paid.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />
Councilman Flowers to accept the Town Clerk's Monthly Report for<br />
February 1993.<br />

Letter received from Dale M. Volker, N.Y. State Senate and a<br />
letter from Francis J. Pordum, N.Y. State Assembly acknowledging<br />
receipt of the Towns request for Community Development<br />
consideration to expand the Community Room in the Town Hall,<br />
received and on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />
Deputy Supervisor Wittmeyer commented the Capital Improvements<br />
Committee is working with Pordum, Volker, and our Grants<br />
Consultant on this project.<br />
Letters received Francis J. Pordum, N.Y. State Assembly<br />
acknowledging receipt of letters received concerning the<br />
Governor's proposal to open the "Locked Box" of the dedicated<br />
highway fund and the Governor's proposal to eliminate the<br />
Environmental Conservation's Bureau of Mineral Resources,<br />
Division of Oil and Gas on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />
Received Notice from NYSDEC regarding Kiatone Pipeline<br />
Corporations proposal to install sixty-five (65) miles of<br />
sixteen (16) inch diameter crude oil transport pipeline in New<br />
York State, from its existing storage facility in West Seneca,<br />
Erie County to the New York/Pennsylvania border in the Town of<br />
South Valley, Cattaraugus County. Public hearings on this<br />
application will be held at Gowanda Volunteer Fire Company 7:00<br />
P.M. March 9, 1993 and also at Seneca Hose Fire Company 7:00<br />
P.M. Harch 10, 1993 for anyone who is interested in attending<br />
on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />
