REGULAR BOARD MEETIN<br />

FEBRUARY 17, 1993<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

Councilman Wohlhueter met with the Solid Haste Committee. Hr.<br />

Paul Balbierz, Representative £rom BPI was in attendance. Our<br />

1993 BFI contract allows for two (2) bulk item pickups per<br />

month. This has not been enforced yet. However, beginning the<br />

second full week in April, April 12, 1993 and every second full<br />

week of the month after that, they will be picking up two (2)<br />

bulk items per month. A flier will be going out to the<br />

residents of the garbage district stating this schedule, in the<br />

middle of March. In that flier there will also be a list of<br />

additional items that BFI is accepting as recyclables. He i;ill<br />

meet with the Highway Superintendent ^nd a schedule of the brush<br />

pickup dates will be listed there. Also, the date for tire<br />

drop-off for the first or second Saturday in May.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer, finally the school bus stop sign has been<br />

moved from Cloverfield to Butternut on Back Creek <strong>Road</strong>.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer commented on the deplorable conditions of<br />

the Boston State <strong>Road</strong> in the hamlet of Boston.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy directed the Town Clerk to write a letter to<br />

John Gugino, Erie County Highway Department, and Frederick<br />

Marshall, Erie County Legislature, indicating that the Traffic<br />

Safety Committee as well as all the members of the Town Board<br />

are extrem.ely concerned with that portion of the Boston State<br />

road that Mr. Gugino had the opportunity to examine when he was<br />

here.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer received a letter from Danny Gchooley, 6415<br />

Willow Drive, requesting a speed limit reduction in his<br />

subdivision.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer responded to this letter noting that this<br />

is one of the subdivisions that we have already applied to the<br />

State for a speed reduction in.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Flowers and seconded by<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer to adjourn the meeting at 8:47 p.m.<br />
