Tnat i= not accurate. it is just walking around just as l did and making an opinion. Now we talk about tn* pond. Four point etgnt (4.8) acres. On my Ptarner Roaa property I have a pond that is about a third or an acre. It contains, my engineers toia me, a million (1,000,000) gallons of water. So, then we talk about a rour point (4.8j acre pond ana 1 uon't know how deep it is mine IS only twelve (12J or thirteen (13j feet, I don't know how deep theirs is. l would make a rule of thumb guess that tney are talking about fifteen million (15.O00.0UO; gallons ot water that would be contained in that pond. That is fifteen million (15,000,000) gallons that won't tiow into the ground, it won't tiow down the hill any more. Because, as my friends have said tney are going to seal that pond so no water does leaK. out except for an overflow. He are going to lose wnatever evaporates ana is rilled up over the winter ana aoesn't spill out. He are going to lose that, tnose of us downnili. You nave heara several people say tnat the viater situation on tne PfaiTser Kosd hill is precarious. You bet your lire it is. He aon't aave washing machines because we are atraia. We do have a aishwasnei in one our homes, nut we don't use it. He are afraid, it's to mucn of a risk tor those ot us down on the hiii to let this thing go through. He don't know what is gding to happen wncn they blast. I can't take a man' word for something that is so important to us. Through no fault ot this Town Board. Tne people on the east hili are in ditricult water trouble, l have talked to Hr. Kennedy about it, 1 nave talked to the Erie County Hater Authority avid there are pians to remedy it. There are no plans to bring city water over on tne viest hill. Ana there won't be tor tne loreseeable tuture. 1 hope tnis Board does nothing to jeopardise the peopie on the west hill. I have heard Hr. D'A.gostino tell us about being correct and proper and aoing thirigs the right way. Weil. Hr. D'Agostiiio representing his clients tried to bluff me out of my weii. Shortly after tney acquired the property i got a letter rrom Hr. D'Agostino saying he'd be willing to lease, to rent my weil to me. I wrote him bacc saying 1 aon't need to rent my well. i have an easement and it is on Liber i, Page #, at tne Erie County Clerk's Office. Hell, he wrote back to me that we don't recognize your easement. Hell, 1 was compelled to seek legai aavise and eventually, he bacKea down, i aid nave a legai right to my easement. protestations of good raith and honesty irom this man aon't hold mucn water with me. I hope that this Board considers the people downhill on tne Pfarner when it maKes its decision on this rezoning request. Thank you. I am concerned about what my recourse would be If I have a problem with the water atter this development goes through. Hho do I go to? Do I go to the Seamen's, the State, the people who did the work Cold Spring Construction, where do we go? I have nothing against future development. X have nothing against them putting a lake or a pond or anything eise tnat fits with that area. Hr. Boasburg's property, that area is the most beautirul property in Boston, in my opinion. Ron Skopinski and I are the only ones uphill from it. It it IS going to help them out, 1 am glad for them. If this is going to make the land more beautiful. That is wonderful. But, we do have a water problem and an aesthetic problem up there right now. I had the bank come in a little over a year ago to do some work on getting insurance on my home and actually, the tact, that we don't have a paved road, that we aon't have water. Fire protection is a little precarious up there. This really worked against me. I am concerned about one more thing adding to tnat. It took me twelve years to save for my home. l bunt it seven years ago aua tne taxes are sky rocketing and the area is just not moving with it. I don't mean to be overly critical, I am just really very concerned. I am at the .highest point; Kiien they said that the vrater was coming from the highest point, i dug two wells before I even ciot water up there, i am very fortunate. 1 ao have a ascent well. My neighbors ao not. That is a reality. Kitnout water what ao we do up there we aori't have any recourse. He can't tap into the City, It we loose our wells. Hary Lou Brown: Is there a guarantee on that? Town Attorney Perley: That would be a Board Resolution. Tney fulfill the terms of the Ttiining permit, they complete tne excavation ot the raining permit and the property automatically reverts to agricultural. Hary Lou Brown: Do you have to rezone the whole property, or are you just going to rezone the area tnat is necessary lor this pond? Town Attorney Perley: That could be done either way. Hary Lou Brovm: Hnat will you do? Town Attorney Perley: That is up to the Board. If they rezone It at ail. Mary Lou Brown: bund on here? Hhere will the house go that they are going to Town Attorney Perley: I cannot speculate, application on tile.
