was made by Supervisor Kennedy, Councilman Wittmeyer, Councilman
Hohlhueter, councilman Flowers, Code Enforcement Officer Kramer
and the Maintenance Person assigned to the Park. A number of
items were found in violation of the Town Mobile Court Law. A
copy of the report was mailed to Mr. Sprague advising that the
Town Board members are in agreement and unless and until we
receive assurance that a program of clean-up and change has
begun we will not issue a renewal license for the Court and will
proceed to explore legal action necessary to promote
improvements. To date we have not received a response from Mr.
Sprague.
Supervisor Kennedy directed Town Clerk Shenk to send a copy_pf
the report and letter by certified mail advising Mr. Sprague
that we withhold the granting of a license. And if we do not
hear from Mr. Sprague by March 1, 1993, he will ask the Town
Attorney to start to prepare notification to the residents of
the Park that Mr. Sprague does not have a licensed park and
whatever remedial action is taken after that depends on the
ordinance and the law.
A motion Was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by
Councilman Hittmeyer to give Mr. Sprague of Sprague Mobile Home
Park until March 3, 1993 to respond to the Town Board so that we
can determine whether or not he intends to address a number of
problems that exist in the Park and, if not at that time
appropriate action will be taken.
