Councilman Wittmeyer announced that there is a meeting of the
South Boston Parks, Saturday, January 23, 1993 at 9:00 A.M.
Councilman Wittmeyer reminded the Board of the inspection of the
Sprague Mobile Home Community of Saturday, January 23, 1993 at
10:00 A.M.
Councilman Wittmeyer advised the Board on behalf of Traffic
Safety, the condition of the Boston State Road in the Hamlet of
Boston is in deplorable condition. He also, requested that
Supervisor Kennedy include this matter in a letter to Mr. Gugino
and ask him to comie out and see if possibly that portion of the
State Road could be posted this spring until something is done
to improve the conditions. Once the heavy trucks begin in the
spring the road will be totally destroyed. The sewer runs down
the middle of the road in that area and there is a lot of quick
sand. The base of the road is deteriorating very rapidly.
